A second Pimco actively managed equity fund is on the way. Morningstar's Ryan Leggio picked up on a preliminary prospecutus the Newport Beach, California-based Pimco [see profile] has filed with the SEC for the Pimco Eqs Emerging Markets Fund.

This comes on the heels of the launch earlier this year of Pimco Eqs Pathfinder.

In other Pimco news, the firm is preparing an emerging-markets-oriented allocation fund, dubbed Pimco Emerging Multi-Asset Fund.
