ICON Adds Two to Sales Team

ICON Advisers, Inc., adviser to the ICON Funds, has hired David Matteo and John Letheby as Regional Vice Presidents in its Sales division.

David Matteo has recently been appointed Regional Vice President for the New England territory. Mr. Matteo will represent the ICON family of funds, ICON’s mutual fund allocation portfolios, and separate accounts. Mr. Matteo has more than six years of financial services industry experience, most recently at Putnam Investments, where he served as a wholesaler and regional sales associate working in the Northeast region. Prior to Putnam Investments, Mr. Matteo was a financial representative with Northwestern Mutual for three years. He received a bachelor’s degree in marketing and finance from Boston College and holds NASD 6, 7, 63, and 65 registrations.

John Letheby has recently been appointed Associate Regional Vice President for the Heartland territory (Minnesota and Wisconsin). Mr. Letheby joined ICON in 2006 as a Regional Sales Associate and has worked in the financial services industry for 10 years, starting his career as a financial consultant. Prior to his position at ICON, Mr. Letheby was a project manager at Merrill Corporation and worked with high-net-worth investors as a representative for American Century Investments. Mr. Letheby received a master's degree in health administration from the University of Missouri and a bachelor’s degree in management from the University of Denver. He holds NASD 6 and 63 registrations.
